Great aesthetic and acoustic interiors for the demonstration of its products

The concept stores are where Boutique Vorwerk showcases its range of high-performance home products with interactive demonstrations, cooking experiences and product samples. Whilst the interior design of each store is unique, excellent acoustics are required in all stores to provide an optimised customer experience.

Acoustic harmony for a better customer experience

The architects vision was to create tailormade islands for a dynamic atmosphere. Rockfon Mono Acoustic ceiling was their go-to choice as it could be fully integrated into the overall concept design and provided the desired acoustic comfort in a noisy space.

The Project Manager at Vorwerk, Guillaume Martin explains: “We wanted a ceiling that didn’t look impersonal or something you'd see in an office ceiling. We wanted something with beautiful, seamless rendering and strong attention paid to the sound.”

Acoustic islands with an aesthetic and light appearance

In addition to offering the desired acoustic control and aesthetic, the ceiling also needs to be able to support the weight of the integrated or suspended services such as any ventilation, speakers and lighting. Rockfon® Mono® Acoustic perfectly fitted into the design and was adaptable into the structure of the different stores. It provided optimal comfort during demonstration workshops and the result was amazing.

Director of Development at Vorwerk, Bruno Romuald continues: “Beyond all the excellent acoustic performance of Rockfon ceilings, we also value how its adaptability made it fit into our tailor-made projects. Rockfon is a well-known, establish and recognised brand in France. Rockfon® Mono® Acoustic met all requirements we had, and we are very satisfied with the final result. We even think about continuing to use this product for our next stores!”
