Do Rockfon ceiling tiles always require a suspension grid?

In most cases, yes. Modular Rockfon ceiling tiles are installed in a suspended grid. 

These grids create a suspended ceiling below the structural ceiling, allowing easy access to the plenum and simple replacement of individual tiles. 

Rockfon modular ceiling tiles and panels are designed to work best with Rockfon Chicago Metallic suspension grids. 

In situations where ceiling height is limited however, some solutions can be fixed directly to the structural ceiling using specific grid components and fixing methods. 

A small number of products can be glued or mechanically fixed directly to the ceiling without a grid.
