Sound absorption is measured in accordance with ISO 354.

Sound absorption data αp, αw and absorption class are calculated in accordance with ISO 11654. Sound absorption properties of islands and baffles are quantified by the equivalent sound absorption area Aeq expressed as m² per item.

Compare
Reaction To Fire Reaction To Fire B-s1,d0
Reaction to fire is classified in accordance with EN 13501-1.
Light reflection and light diffusion Light reflection and light diffusion 74%
Light reflection expressed in % is measured in accordance with ISO 7724-2.
Humidity And Sag Resistance Humidity And Sag Resistance Up to 100% RH.
No visible deflection in high humidity.
ROCKFON ceiling tiles are dimensionally stable even at humidity levels of up to 100% relative humidity and can be installed at all temperatures ranging from 0°C to 40°C. They can be installed during the very early stage of the build (when windows are not fully sealed). Their lightweight yet stable non-hygroscopic character minimises the final weight of the fully-installed ceiling. ROCKFON ceiling tiles are predominantly classified as Class 1/C/0N in accordance with EN 13964. Certain module sizes (width above 700mm) are Class 2/C/0N.
Surface Durability Surface Durability The high performance inert film of Rockfon CleanSpace Block provides enhanced durability and water-repellence.
The film contains DMAc (CAS 127-19-5) in a concentration ≥ 0.1% and < 1% by weight.
The surface of some ROCKFON products is specially treated to provide enhanced durability and dirt resistance.
Cleaning Cleaning Vacuum, Damp cloth, Steam cleaning (twice a year), Low pressure foam cleaning (twelve times a year), High pressure cleaning (monthly and only applicable for A-edge installation). Max. 80 bar, min. 1 meter distance, water spread at 30° angle, max. water flow 360 L/h. The tiles should be clipped into the grid., Chemical resistance: Tested according to ISO 2812-1 (“Determination of resistance to liquids - Part 1: Immersion in liquids other than water”) and classification in accordance with VDI 2083 Part 17. Results are classified as ‘Excellent’ with the following detergents and disinfectants (daily disinfection): – Formalin (37%) – Ammonia (25%) – Hydrogen peroxide (30%) – Sulphuric acid (5%) – Phosphoric acid (30%) – Peracetic acid (15%) – Hydrochloric acid (5%) – Isopropanol (100%) – Sodium hydroxide (5%) – Sodium hypochlorite (15%)
Vacuum: The surface can be vacuum cleaned with a soft brush attachment.
Disinfection Disinfection - Resistant to using Hydrogen Peroxide Vapor disinfection without impact on aeration time
- Can withstand and will not be affected by UVC and Ozone disinfection
Clean Room Classification Clean Room Classification 2
Clean room classification is measured in accordance with ISO 14644-1.
Bacteriological Class M1, NF S 90-351:2013
Air Pressure Air Pressure Suitable in areas where differential pressure is required.
When used in combination with:
-HDC 2 for the 25 mm tile;
the air leakage rate of less than 0.5m³/h/ m²/Pa under a pressure range of 5 to 40 Pa is achieved.
The amount of hold down clips (HDC) depends on the tile dimensions and the room size/shape.
