Lighting, comfort, and brand identity

In the design of the new headquarter office, Danish jewelry brand, Pandora, opted for a space that maximised employee well-being by optimising natural daylight and energy consumption. The new workplace ties together sustainability, comfort, and brand identity through acoustic design solutions.

Combining natural lighting with acoustic comfort

When designing the new Copenhagen headquarters, Pandora made design decisions that focused on well-being and efficient energy use. Designed by Bystrup Architects and Designers, their two six-story towers create an environment that relies on natural lighting, ventilation, and acoustic comfort. To optimise wellbeing, all installed ceiling solutions needed to act as a visual and functional element that would shape the overall interior experience.

Rockfon Blanka acoustic ceiling tiles were installed to optimise both acoustic comfort and natural lighting. With a matte finish and light reflection of over 87 percent, the tiles' surface reduces glare and distributes light evenly while promoting wellness with an integrated diffuse ventilation, providing a constant supply of fresh air without the need of exposed ventilation fixtures.
