Modern facelift with acoustic soundscapes
In January 2019, Hotel Riverton, Gothenburg's largest privately owned hotel, embarked on a large-scale renovation. But it was not a typical renovation, the focus throughout the process was on developing an international design feeling to reach towards new target groups. But the international design shouldn’t only be a beautiful sight for the eyes, but also for the ears.
The facelift should create a unique and tranquil environment that pleases all guests' senses. From when they enter, they should feel relaxed, comfortable and surprised by the elegant interior.
A feeling of luxury in a family way
The interior design opted for Rockfon Color-all acoustic ceiling so the ceiling could complement the different rooms such as the restaurant, conference rooms and the brand-new spa area. The hotel offers a holistic experience for the visitors spiced with food and drink, several meeting and conference facilities. And above all - a good night's sleep.
Hotel Riverton offers the best of both worlds: proximity to the water and proximity to the city. Thanks to the renovation of SEK 225 million, it’s now possible to strengthen the position on the Gothenburg map for both the business segment and new target groups, as well as offer an improved experience with luxury and a family feeling.

- We call ourselves Gothenburg's personal design hotel, where design stands for all the exclusive materials, colours and furniture that you find with us. Therefore, we did not want a standard roof, and Rockfon's large selection of colours and module sizes ultimately made the choice easy for us.
